What I think this shows is that social media is not so much a medium of information – it is more a medium of connection and action. Access to information is now no longer the problem that ‘media’ solves – the game has moved on.

I read the opening line of Paul Mason’s post incorrectly, and did a quick double-take – turned out Mubarak was ‘teetering’, not ‘tweeting’
