It should be reasonably easy for them to control the non-tech channels where digg’s hardcore users have less of a hold. There have been reports this week that less than 100 very determined and addicted posters ‘make’ half the news on digg’s front page. (go to digg.com/topusers to see the extent of their fanaticism)

Very good point, Ian – “World & Business” channel has a much small audience and I would assume voting base – top stories seem to require a tenth of the votes that they do in tech.
