2.3 million images geo-tagged in Flickr this month

It’s not news (although I do wonder what the trend on that people connecting their Flickr photos to points on the map is). But still, wow…

Reminds me I need to try out this geocaching lark…

  1. my contribution to this – http://is.gd/9uto – has come about because I switched to using my N95 as my main camera and have switched on auto geo-tagging in Shozu which I use almost exclusively for upload to flickr.

  4. Geocaching: do it. Bit geeky, but a great excuse to shut your PC and get out and about. And really great if you’ve got young kids and want to get them out for a walk either in town or the countryside.
