A YouTube video entry for the Red Bull “Art of the Can” competition, which I think has been running for a few years, has made it big – over 170,000 views so far – and counting.
Brand owners take note – this is how you win attention for your brand with co-creation, being useful and letting people play with your brand.
Tell you what though, Red Bull could be doing more to make the campaign website more social media-friendly. Galleries, widgets, news, a blog would all be really simple things to do that could help it to be more useful to its networks and attract more attention for the campaign / brand as a result.
