The Press Gazette has launched a special award for citizen journalists who have video or still images used by mainstream media, according to the BBC.
As the 7th July 2005 falls within the period eligible for entries, I would think it likely that one of the images from that terrible day will win.
Nokia has smartly decided to sponsor the award, which will certainly garner a few a column inches of its own when it is presented to the heroic winner.
