Changes at Open

As you may notice I’ve spruced up the design a little on Open, partly to move away from being a Typepad template and also to make it easier to read / use.

As well as the design changes I have altered the RSS feed from this site to give just a headline and intro to posts in your reader. I prefer to read feeds this way – if it’s not how you like them, let me know and I’ll find a way to offer both options.

If you have any thoughts or suggestions regarding the changes please feel free to make comments below or email me.

: : UPDATE: Immediate feedback indicates that full feed is the preferred option for a lot of people. I’m changing back to that until I can figure out how to provide different feed options.

    Gotta be full feed Antony. Anything else is just not real blogging ;-)

    Seriously though, I find it takes too long to keep clicking through otherwise.

    Your new design is very austere. Perhaps it’s my browser…

    Thanks, David – yep, got the full feed message loud and clear on email too. I kind of like the minimalist thing, but I guess I need some images to brighten it up.
