Great behind-the-scenes look at the Apple boss’s famous and much admired keynote presentations on the front page of today’s Guardian‘s Technology section.
There are some fascinating insights here, into the process of preparing for a crucial presentation (rehearse everything tons of times, have back-up systems for your back-up systems, make sure all the content is the best it can possibly be) and into the relentless perfectionism of Mr Jobs. As the author, the aptly named Mike Evangelist, says:
I believe it is one of the most important aspects of Steve Jobs’s
impact on Apple: he has little or no patience for anything but
excellence from himself or others.
