Spot on.
I agree with this completely. It’s so wrong headed to jump and agree, when in actuality we are all far, far more complex.
I’d mark the ‘divide’ down to usability/intent, to be honest. I have a MySpace page, but it’s not used (and I had one far before Facebook) simply because all MySpace pages I come across are incredibly badly designed.
